A farmer walks back to his home beyond the Great Wall, China's trademark, that is today half crumbling and overgrown, half well-maintained and open to tourism. China itself has been struggling with the dilemma of losing half of its culture to modernization and preserving half of it for consumption by modern Chinese and global citizens. But what does the farmer think?
